DA Languages is looking for expand our network of freelance Arabic remote translators.

We provide written translation as an available service to our UK based clients. This service allows our clients to get their documents translated into any language they require for their service users.

Please note, each candidate must:

• Have Right to Work in the UK
• Be fluent in English and their chosen language pair(s) up to C1 level
• Be willing to complete a trial assessment
• Hold a Security Check (SC) Clearance - This is essential for this position. This high level of security clearance is necessary for individuals who will be handling sensitive documents or information
• Have 1 year experience, or a minimum of 100,000 words translated or 100 Assignments
• Hold one of the following: BA or MA in Translation, CIOL Level 7 Diploma in Translation, DPI Level 4 & 5 in Translation, BA or MA in Languages, Linguistics or any other related discipline related to languages

What will you be doing?

As a translator, you will receive documents digitally and translate them into another language for our clients. You will provide accurate translation within the deadline provided and submit your work following our procedure. You will also proofread and check for grammatical errors when required. You will notify our booking team if you need any assistance or spot any faults to ensure that your document is signed off and ready for submission back to our clients.

Having one of the below qualifications is preferred, but not essential:

• Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI)
• Community Interpreting
• National Registered (NRPSI)
• Chartered Institute of Linguists Qualifications (CIOL)
• Certificate in Bilingual Skills (CBS)
• BA in Translation or Interpreting
• BA in Languages, Linguistics, or any related discipline

Rate:

The rate is 0.04p per word (GBP).
