Tamil or Bengali speaking Account Manager

Our client is a leading international wholesaler specialising in the import and
distribution of brand-name food products from Asia, India, Africa, and the Middle East
to almost all of Europe. Their core business revolves around being a total supplier of
Asian, African, and Indian foodstuffs, serving a diverse client base that includes
ethnic shops, wholesalers, food service companies, supermarket chains, and e-commerce platforms.

In the position of Tamil or Bengali-speaking account manager, you are responsible for the
development of your own customer portfolio. This portfolio will consist of Asian
Tokos, supermarkets and restaurants. You ensure revenue growth through frequent
telephone contact with the customer and by managing this relationship with the
customer.

As a Tamil or Bengali-speaking account manager, you will be responsible for, among other
things:

  • The development and expansion of your own customer portfolio;
  • Approaching and starting potential customers;
  • Frequent telephone contact with the customer;
  • Relationship management;
  • Contributing to revenue growth.

We ask of you:

  • At least a completed MBO 4 education;
  • A good command of Tamil or Bengali, English and Dutch;
  • Proficiency in the German and French language is an advantage;
  • Affinity with our products;
  • Independence, good communication skills and commercial drive;
  • Numerical insight and a positive and customer-oriented attitude.
