Sales Manager - Global Payments - German Speaker

Position purpose:

The Sales Manager is responsible for the acquisition and maintenance of mid- & large corporate clients with an annual turnover > € 50mn in Germany/Austria during the whole lifecycle of relationship by using digital Marketing (social media), personal network, association & fairs and marketing campaigns (self-organized/organized by marketing).

Set-up of strong personal relationship to decision-makers.

  • Identify prospects in the corporate sector for cross-border payments
  • Sales of client integration solution or other comparable solutions
  • Establish sales pipeline, win new clients, and generate new business revenues
  • Undertake sales and marketing activities in various corporate industries
  • Maintain and grow existing client relationships – sales lifecycle management
  • Remain current on industry rules, regulations and best practices
  • Observe changes and new trends in the payments industry
  • Work collaboratively with others in the Global Payments Division and cross-functionally and use cross-selling opportunities
  • Attend sales and marketing meetings
  • Attend trade show’s where applicable
  • Support other sales managers and marketing as required

To land this role you will need:

  • Experience in corporate coverage (relationship)
  • Payments and/or FX-knowledge
  • Client acquisition experience/Ability to create and maintain a customer relationship
  • Entrepreneurial way of thinking and acting
  • High sales orientation to meet sales targets
  • Good understanding of the various marketing playing field
  • Working knowledge MS-Office & Salesforce
  • Understanding of the B2B cross-border payment market
  • Fluent in English and German

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or comparable education
