CHEF DE PARTIE (GASTRO BAR)

Location: Cormey, Co. Cavan

Full-time, permanent

Essentials: potential for up to 500 covers daily, availability to work 5 /7 days per week including weekends, morning and evening shifts. Hot food is served from12pm daily Last orders 9.30 pm

Salary: €32k - €36k gross/year

Job responsibilities:

  • To take care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by the senior chefs to meet the standard and the quality set by our client
  • To follow the instructions and recommendations from the immediate superiors to complete the daily tasks.
  • To coordinate daily tasks with the Sous Chef.
  • You will be responsible for supervising junior chefs or commis.
  • To estimate the daily production needs and check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
  • To ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.

 

Requirements:

  • Permission to work and reside in Ireland
  • Methodical and organised work ethic
  • Fluent spoken & written English
  • Ability to use own initiative as well as take direction
  • Ability to work as part of a team
