Project Manager – Biotechnology
Based in Germany: Stuttgart / Tübingen
Permanent, fulltime
Salary €80,000 to €85,000
Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager on site, the Project Manager will contribute to the dynamic field of biotechnology.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Contribute to defining project scope and objectives.
- Prepare accurate budgets based on the scope of the project and required resource
- Anticipate and manage resources to achieve project objectives, both internally and externally.
- Create and oversee detailed project schedules and work plans.
- Track project costs to align with budgetary constraints.
- Conduct risk management to minimize potential project risks.
- Regularly report project status providing insights into strategy, adjustment and progress.
- Apply industry best practices, techniques, and standards
- Measure and report project performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Profile:
- German language skills to native level with fluency in English
- Practical experience in an engineering or product development environment.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical field.
- Solid project management and related experience ideally in the medical or biotechnology sector
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certifications strongly preferred.
- Enthusiastic outlook, self-driven, and persistent in ensuring thorough follow-up and follow-through
- Knowledge of tools, methodologies, and best practices in project management software
- Shown proficiency in overseeing projects across their entire life cycle
- Effective organizational and analytical capabilities
