Product Photography Production Project Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Photography Production Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring that all project goals and objectives are met within scope, time, constraints. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong leadership abilities, and effective communication to drive successful project outcomes. This role will be a pivotal bridge between all cross functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communication and Reporting: Maintain open lines of communication with clients and internal stakeholders, updating them on project progress, milestones, and potential issues.  Prepare and present comprehensive project reports to management, outlining key metrics and performance indicators.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in product photography and production techniques. Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the photography production process.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively and efficiently to tasks, taking into consideration team members' skills and availability. Optimize resource utilization to maximize project efficiency.
  • Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, resources, and budget requirements.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively manage and address any issues that arise during project execution, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines and outcomes.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet the established quality standards. Implement quality control processes to review and approve work products before their release. Make sure all file formats are included in handoff.
  • Project Tracking and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, risk logs, and status reports. Generate comprehensive project reports for management review.
  • Change Management: Effectively manage changes to project scope, schedule, and objectives. Assess potential impacts and communicate changes to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and minimizing disruptions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Understand their needs and expectations, and work to address them throughout the project lifecycle.


  • Bachelor's degree in Photography, Visual Arts, Business, or a related field is a plus
  • Familiarity with photography equipment, lighting, composition techniques, photo editing and retouching software is a plus.
  • Proven experience (5 + years) in project management or coordination roles.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to changing project needs.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
