Your responsibilities and impact as a Fraud Prevention Agent will be:

• Reviewing suspicious online purchase orders and analyzing customer data to detect fraud

• Identifying and documenting unusual activity, discovering patterns, and flagging potential risks

• Communicating with customers via phone and email to verify details in a privacy-compliant and professional way

• Conducting investigations to decide whether to approve or cancel orders

• Contributing to the improvement of fraud detection processes and trends reporting

Skills, qualifications and interests you need to succeed in this role:

• Native level of German and excellent English skills

• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately under deadlines

• High attention to detail with strong investigative skills

• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision

• Team player, client-oriented, and committed to providing excellent service

• Willingness to stay in Portugal for the medium to long term (not a short-term project)

What’s in it for you?

• Type of contract: 6-month or 1-year fixed-term contract, renewable annually

• Working hours: Full-time (40h/week, 5 days/week) on rotating shifts depending on the project

• Salary conditions:

  • With free accommodation (shared flat, all bills included): €950 – €1,000 gross/month (depending on experience)

  • Without accommodation: €1,300 – €1,400 gross/month (depending on experience)

  • Paid training period provided
